This is Rhodes

According to Greek mythology, the island rose from the sea as a gift from Zeus to the sun god Helios. Rhodes still enjoys more hours of sunshine and the longest summer than any other Greek island. The island has a rich and varied landscape. The west coast is more fertile and forested than the east coast but also has rocky beaches.

This is Rhodes

It offers a unique landscape full of surprises: beautiful sandy beaches, rocky or fertile soil with olive groves, heavenly lagoons, green peninsulas and several scattered fishing villages.

Except for the people who keep warm hospitality towards strangers, the most breathtaking sea and mountains, there is also the glorious past of Rhodes, the order of the Knights of St. John , Byzantine churches and monasteries, numerous archaeological treasures and a marvelous medieval city, a city still inhabited today.
